Elizabeth brings over 25 years of financial planning experience in service to her clients. She is an Atlanta native who moved to Memphis to attend Rhodes College. She obtained her BA in Psychology and began her career in financial services shortly thereafter. In 2004, she obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional designation. In 2008, Elizabeth received IACP- approved training in Collaborative Divorce, she has received additional training in Mindful Communication, and she has practiced divorce financial planning work alongside traditional financial planning since 2008. In 2015, Elizabeth was granted listing as a State of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Family Listed Mediator. Elizabeth is also licensed as a CDFA ® Professional through The Institute of Certified Divorce Financial Analysts.
Elizabeth relocated to the greater Seattle area in 2018 and launched her own divorce financial planning practice shortly thereafter. Given Elizabeth’s rich background in assisting clients with financial planning, along with her passion and enthusiasm for assisting clients who are divorcing, Elizabeth is capable of aiding clients in even the most complex of divorce cases.
Elizabeth is a former board member of Memphis Collaborative Alliance, a current member of King County Collaborative Law, The International Association of Collaborative Professionals, Collaborative Professionals of Washington, Dispute Resolution Center of Kitsap County, and she serves on the investment committee of The Kitsap Community Foundation. She also provides pro-bono divorce planning services in underserved communities.
Elizabeth lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband, her son, daughter, her chickens, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys the great outdoors and can be found hiking, biking, swimming, paddling, and practicing yoga. Elizabeth is an avid gardener, knitter, and she is a proud mom to a UW Husky.
